Celtic fans may not be too enthused when they find out that former manager Brendan Rodgers has been included in a new club product. The club have released an official Celtic Monopoly game featuring some of the club’s finest players and managers.
The likes of Paul McStay, Shunsuke Nakamura and Scott Brown all appear while there is also space for the much vilified Northern Irishman. Ironically, Rodgers slides in between Henrik Larsson and the “Go to jail” square on the board.

Fans may not be too happy that the club have chosen to include him in an official product. It may seem like such a small deal but football fans are fickle and will see his Monopoly inclusion as a vote of thanks.
Will he ever be forgiven?
Rodgers had a god-like reputation with the Celtic support after leading the club to seven successive trophies. Those honours will always remain in black and white but his image among the fans is tarnished.
The 46-year-old couldn’t be grudged a move back to the hallowed Premier League, but it was the timing that upset Celtic supporters. He departed on the eve of a crucial league match at Tynecastle without so much as a goodbye.
Time may turn out to be a healer for Rodgers but he’ll need a lot of it. He is not viewed positively by the majority of the Celtic support now and little will change that.
