Manager Neil Lennon has named his Celtic team to face St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership today.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Barkas, Ajer, Jullien, Bitton, Frimpong, Laxalt, Brown, McGregor, Rogic, Christie, Edouard.

Substitutes – Bain, Taylor, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Turnbull, Ntcham, Elyounoussi, Elhamed.

Having managed to secure just two wins from 11 matches, the pressure is on the Bhoys today.

The players, management, coaching staff and club executives are all under the spotlight right now and anything less than a win today will again anger a majority of supporters.

Rangers have thrashed Ross County today, a week after they beat us at Celtic Park, making the need for three points even more urgent.

Lennon has named a very strong eleven for the encounter, relying on the same favourites he has turned to for most of the season.

Thursday’s goalscorers Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic are on hand to provide the creativity and firepower, but can the defence and midfield combine to shut out the visitors?

Broadcast Details

Today’s match is on the club’s ‘Pass To Paradise’ streaming service for season ticket holders. Former players Stan Petrov and Alan Stubbs are on hand to provide analysis of the fixture.

Celtic TV will also be broadcasting live coverage to worldwide subscribers, outside of the UK & Ireland.

For those who cannot watch the match, BBC Radio Scotland is providing live audio commentary online and over the airwaves.

Fan reaction

The lack of rotation in the team has frustrated some supporters, feeling that players such as Scott Brown should have made way for emerging talent like David Turnbull or Ismaila Soro, both of whom are on the bench.

Do we really need a sitting midfielder as well as a back three against St Johnstone?

It remains to be seen what the shape of the lineup is of course, but at first glance, it appears to be the same approach that has let us down often this term.
