Luis Palma is the new kid on the Celtic block and he reacted on Instagram to donning the famous strip for the first time on Saturday.
Not only did Luis Palma register a win on his Celtic debut against Dundee, but less than ten minutes after the 23-year-old came onto the pitch, the Bhoys proceeded to add two more goals to their name following David Turnbull’s opener.
It resulted in the winger receiving a number of congratulations on his Celtic debut in the comments section of his Instagram post, including from Getafe forward and his fellow countryman, Anthony Lozano, who told him: ‘Congratulations. And much success’.
With those first minutes on the board, it’s going to be interesting to see how Brendan Rodgers uses his new recruit because Champions League football returns next week – Nat Phillips also made his debut yesterday, with Virgil van Dijk reacting.
A trip to Rotterdam awaits the Bhoys on Tuesday, followed up by an early kick-off in the Premiership at Livingston.
That might allow the Celtic fans to have a first proper look at their new star following his summer transfer from Greek side, Aris, because he may well start at Livi next week.

Another Honduran trying to light up the Celtic stage
Palma has some big shoes to fill, not in regards to a player in his position, but in terms of the country he hails from.
He is now only the second player from Honduras to represent the Glasgow giants – Emilio Izaguirre, over two spells, was a fan favourite at Parkhead.
Many are hoping that Palma can go down the same road because, if he does, then he will write a pretty incredible chapter in his Celtic career.
