Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart remains in a confident, buoyant mood despite not quite getting the win against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership today.

There was an expectant feeling at Celtic Park today as everyone sensed the opportunity to hammer home a nine-point lead at the top of the table and effectively wrap up the title.

It wasn’t quite to be after yet another tight derby and the focus remains on getting over the line over the next few games.

Hart kept things in perspective on Instagram tonight, stating: “Awesome game. What an atmosphere, we played for the W but couldn’t quite get it done. We move forward to Saturday… together 💚💪”

Joe Hart had an eventful afternoon at Celtic Park. Although he was beaten at his near post by an excellent Fashion Sakala Jr. goal, the former England international made a stunning save to keep things level at 1-1 late on.

Hart was also at the centre of plenty on the ball possession, which wasn’t a problem for most of the game until Rangers really threw everything at attempts of a victory late on.

Like the rest of us, Hart knows that the most important thing today wasn’t losing the game. We remain six points clear with three games remaining and that’s an incredible position to be in.

Kyogo Furuhashi was also in on the social media posts this evening, sending a similar message of unity on his social media feeds too.

The Japanese forward said on Instagram, captioning a photo of the pre-match huddle: “+1! We wanted more today but another step closer to the objective. Time to focus on the next game!🍀”

This team have their eyes on the prize. Not long now folks, not long now.
