Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is insistent today wasn’t a pivotal one in the Scottish Premiership title race with Rangers.

The Bhoys picked up a 3-2 victory at home to Dundee, scoring a winner in the 86th minute. Meanwhile, the Ibrox outfit struggled to a draw against Dundee United at Tannadice.

Two more points have swung towards Celtic, giving Ange’s team a three-point lead at the top of the table.

Speaking to BBC Radio Scotland [17:15] he said when asked if today was pivotal in the title race: “No, because we were six points behind not long ago. Things change very quickly.

“What’s important is that even during those times we were behind we just focused on what we were doing. That’s what we need to do.

“You saw today, we played really well and dominated the game but the result isn’t a given. In football, you’ve got to earn everything you get.

“We had to earn it today and I’m sure we’ll have to earn everything else from here on.”
