Ryan Christie’s injury has meant returning attacker Tom Rogic coming back into the Celtic fold.
The Australian has been in and out the team since he came back a few weeks ago.
Predictably, it’s taking him a bit of time to get back to full fitness.
However, his standard stamina in matches is known for giving out towards the end of games.
Should the Celtic fans be worried as the hunt for a treble treble intensifies?
Tom Rogic return gives different dynamic
They both play in the same position on the field, but Rogic and Christie are different in some ways.
Christie loves to run about and press with his intense engine while Rogic is far more technical with tiring legs.
Of course, both have their uses but perhaps the Scot would have been the better choice for the run in.
Teams will be out to stop Celtic in any way they can and they’ll play an aggressive game to do so.
Christie zipping around the field for 90 minutes would offer the Hoops more than Rogic in that case.
However, if things aren’t going well, which has happened a lot this season, then the Aussie can provide that spark from out of nowhere to steal the game.
Tom Rogic gives best performance since return
If there is anyone out there fearing Rogic coming back as a starter, then the Aberdeen match should ease heads.
He never played the full 90 minutes, but Rogic put in his best performance since coming back.
In the matches previous he looked legged but on Sunday he was doing what he does best.
Not to mention, the 26-year-old sealed the final spot with a pearler into the bottom right corner.
His injury and stamina fears are understandable but fans have to see past that.
The Hoops are going for a treble treble and every player will be looking to seal that.
Players like Rogic are needed for these games as it’s not always plain sailing.
