Celtic FC Foundation have partnered with digital advertising specialists, Ocean, to help promote the charity’s ‘Football For Good’ fund, it was announced on CelticFC.net today.

Advertising space has been donated by Ocean at over 30 different Glasgow locations, giving the city a real green and white glow this week.

A massive £600,000 has already been invested into the Foundation’s fund, providing:

  • food and essentials to over 35,000 vulnerable families and individuals.
  • food and essentials to over 9,000 vulnerable pensioners.
  • food and essentials to over 4,000 people facing homelessness.
  • over 11,000 hot meals to frontline NHS staff.

It’s been an incredible effort from everyone involved and now hopefully a wider audience will be reached when it comes to spreading the message of the initiative.

Celtic FC Foundation Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, said: “Ocean have been a fantastic supporter of Celtic FC Foundation for some time now and once again they have been extremely keen to help our cause.

“With our messaging displayed in so many locations throughout the city, this is a wonderful opportunity for Celtic FC Foundation to showcase the work that has been done so far through the Football for Good Fund. Our sincere thanks to Chris Trainer, Marc Keenan and everyone at Ocean for all of their efforts.

“I have absolutely no doubt that this messaging across the city will reach so many of our supporters and encourage those who’re in a position to do so, to get involved in our Appeal.”

Throughout the ongoing pandemic, Celtic have not forgotten the community that surrounds the club and have ensured unbelievable support is given to a number of vulnerable groups.

Now supporters can directly get involved in the appeal and show that fans can be just as generous and thoughtful.

The ‘Football For Good’ programme is set to run for a further six months and you can find out all the ways to lend your support and donations via this link.
