Celtic’s new £7 million man Christopher Jullien has admitted that the chance to make history with the Hoops is ‘exciting’ to him.

The Hoops are only two titles away from winning their 10th title in a row. The former Toulouse man is seemingly already aware of how important that achievement would be to the Celtic support.

“That’s really exciting. For now, we want to equal the nine. After that, we can see the next one” he said, as reported by the Daily Record.

“A good thing to have that focus”

“For now I’ll just be focused on the nine, but it’s a good thing to have that focus of winning some trophies and having some legacy. It is a great moment.”

Jullien seems to be focused on the here and now and not the future, which is a good trait to have.

Pressure will be on new signing

The pressure will be on Jullien and his Hoops team-mates this season. Not only to win nine in a row but to return to the Champions League group stages.

However, the player sounds very focused on the task in hand. Already he looks to be fully aware of what is required to be a success at Celtic.

The proof will be on the pitch though, and the centre-back has a big price tag on his head. If he can achieve the ‘legacy’ and ‘history’ he talks about though Jullien will turn out to be money well spent by the Hoops.
