Former Celtic favourite Charlie Mulgrew has signed for Fleetwood Town – a side managed by Joey Barton.
The Neil Lennon signing, who spent his best time at the club between 2010 and 2016, has been playing down south for a number of years since.
Mulgrew has played for Blackburn Rovers and more recently Wigan Athletic, but has now joined League One side Fleetwood on loan.

The English club confirmed the news on their website on Friday afternoon.
‘Barton game’ serves a neat reminder ahead of tomorrow
Mulgrew will join up with former Rangers midfielder Barton.
Celtic could be set for a welcome Kyogo boost, as Japan shuts its borders
The retired midfield hothead endured a torrid time in Scotland, as he came off second-best to Scott Brown and Celtic in our famous 5-1 win back in September 2016.
That smashing victory was brilliant for a number of reasons, but seeing the despised Barton picking the ball out of the net at 4-1 down was a pretty great moment.
The win came off the back of another summer of Rangers optimism, bursting the Gers’ bubble and putting Barton firmly in his place.

Hopefully we can produce a similar kind of display in tomorrow’s game.
We may not be staring at another four-goal victory. But, to be honest, most of us will settle for any kind of win against our rivals.
We wish Charlie Mulgrew all the best at his new club.
