His message to fans was quite simple, stating: “Hi, Celtic fans! I’m very happy and proud to be here. I can’t wait for the first match in new colours! Thanks to my former club Jagiellonia for everything. Let’s get rocking, Celtic!”

Let’s get rocking has become something of a catchphrase for the player after he was spotted arriving at Glasgow in a jumper with those words emblazoned across the front.

He’ll be added to Neil Lennon’s attack in short order and expected to immediately compete for places. It’s been reported that he joined the club for a fee of ยฃ3.5m (The Scottish Sun).

He’s already scored seven league goals this season and if he can get down to business at Celtic Park and net a few over the next few weeks, the hype levels around his signing will rise and rise.

It’ll be very interesting to see how quickly Lennon plans to use him, with the player having not played a match since 15th December.

These fans were excited to see the message from the player, taking to Twitter this evening to share their thoughts…
