Celtic goalkeeper Scott Bain has revealed that the team won’t need interim manager Neil Lennon to motivate the side for Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.

Instead, he has disclosed that Scott Brown will have the players ready to go for the match.

“Always push us”

“I don’t think the manager needs to say much to get us motivated for Sunday. Players like Scott Brown always push us to a standard to achieve these goals as well” he revealed to the club’s Twitter account.

It is not a shock to see Brown named as the biggest motivator in the squad. He is a player who strives to improve his team-mates.

You can tell this even from Celtic’s pre-match huddle. Brown is often very passionate during those. He seems eager to get the message though to his team-mates.

Will remind the players before kick-off

This is no doubt the case in the dressing room before the game as well. Brown will be reminding the players how important the semi-final is for the Hoops.

They stand only two games away from a historic third consecutive domestic treble in a row. Brown will be drumming into the players what an achievement that would be.

If the players pay heed to the advice of Brown and Lennon, Celtic should make it though to their third consecutive Scottish Cup Final.
