Sky Sports have announced the next batch of Celtic league matches that will be shown on the channel.

The broadcaster has confirmed plans for December and January, with more Celtic away matches excluded from their offering.

Earlier this week, we told you how Celtic’s upcoming visits to Motherwell and Hibernian would not be televised.

Now the December visits to Ross County (15th) and St. Mirren (18th) also won’t be shown.

It also remains to be seen whether the post-winter break trip to Tynecastle will be included nearer the time.

Sky will show our trips to Dundee and Dundee United in the coming months, as well as the Thursday night home clash against Hearts.

They will also have our Boxing Day visit to St. Johnstone as well as the New Year Derby against Rangers.

Celtic fans will be left out of pocket again due to Sky

But, once again, it seems like Celtic fans wanting to see away games will be out of pocket, forced to pay for PPV streams.

This is hardly a new phenomenon, and has been the case since Sky’s new deal came into play in 2020.

Celtic fans have had to pay Aberdeen, Hibernian, Ross County, St. Mirren and others directly to watch games.

And, given that Sky bill coverage of Celtic and Rangers away matches as one of their key selling points, that’s not ideal.

At least the travelling Celtic fans won’t have to worry about changed kick-off times.
