Celtic’s top striker Odsonne Eoduard recently picked up yet another accolade to go with the many he has received in his time in Glasgow.

The Hoops striker was named as the Premiership player of the month for August.

Edouard has been excellent for a Celtic team which has won their first five league games of the season for the first time in nine years.

If Edouard keeps up his good form, he really could win some more player of the month awards. However, he will undeniably attract attention from interested clubs.

According to the Daily Mail, Napoli are preparing a bid for the player. That is not something that Celtic fans will want to hear.

However, it was always unlikely that the player would spend his entire career at Celtic. Getting three of four seasons out of Edouard was always the most likely situation, before the Hoops sell him off for a profit.

Celtic fans should enjoy every minute of Edouard playing for the Hoops this season. There is no guarantee that he will be at the club next season.
