The article says that the “disappointed” Hoops stars will be given time off before plans are drawn up as Neil Lennon described the whole thing as a “nightmare situation”.

“We’re human beings,” the Celtic boss said on Friday afternoon. (STV)

What happens to Celtic stars now?

Given the amount of uncertainty around at present, it really is no surprise that Celtic are yet to draw up plans on how to proceed.

We don’t know how long football is going to be off for. It could be ten days, ten weeks, or even longer.

Do Celtic keep training is this period? Do they use it as a chance for their players to rest their legs after a hectic eight months or so?

Is it a bit of both? It’s such a hard thing to weigh up because we don’t know what’s round the corner.

Lennon is right to point out that health is the most important thing. That goes for club employees, fans and more.

But you get the feeling there will be a lot inside Celtic Park twiddling their thumbs given the recent news.

I know a lot of us fans are anyway. Just what do we do now with no football on the horizon?

Should the first-team get some time off? Or should they keep training? Let us know your thoughts below and join the discussion on our newly launched fans forum…
