Celtic could clinch the title against Hibernian on Sunday, if Rangers drop points against Hearts on Saturday. Should the title be on the line, Neil Lennon will pick his strongest possible side.
That should mean a start for the man for Celtic’s big occasions – Tom Rogic.
Can always make the difference
Time and time again, Rogic has proved to be a difference-maker for the Hoops in the biggest games. Just recently, he came off the bench to score the third goal in the 3-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Add to that his many goals against Rangers, Rogic seems certain to get the nod to start at Easter Road. He could replace Ryan Christie, who he replaced to great effect in the semi-final.
Getting back to his best
So far Rogic hasn’t been at his very best after a long injury lay-off. However, the signs are there that he is getting back to his best.
The goal against Aberdeen was the latest example of that. It was a superb strike into the corner of the net, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
Therefore, it makes sense for Rogic to back in the starting line-up on a potential day of celebration for the Celtic support.
You would not bet against Rogic scoring yet another goal in a big game for the Hoops. It is one of the things he does best.
