A new season but it’s the same old nonsense from Rangers fans as they start up with their Celtic conspiracy theories.
It it’s not Peter Lawwell running the SFA it’s Celtic determining the fixture list. Today, they’ve restarted their insistence that the latter still rings true in Scottish football after the SPFL released next season’s fixture list.
Yes, the random SPFL fixture generator is pro-Celtic don’t you know? That’s why we have our first game at Tynecastle whilst Rangers play notoriously poor travellers Livingston at home. It’s why we have away games to Hearts, Rangers, Aberdeen, Motherwell, Livingston, and Hibernian in our first round of fixtures.
But nevermind all of that because the Rangers fans need something to moan about. Not even being Champions can give them any class.
Last season, they were having a pop at the first derby taking place at Celtic Park. The reason? Because it was all a ploy to get fans in the door.
Rangers fans already creating new Celtic conspiracy theories; it’s all becoming tiresome
They’re furious that this isn’t the same this time around. That Celtic will travel to Ibrox with limited spectators in the door. It’s difficult to know how many will be allowed to attend, but they’ll still have people there. Which is more than can be said for the first derby of last season.
But of course, unless the fixture list lands exactly the way Rangers fans like it, there’s always something pro-Celtic going on. Truth is they should be praying fans don’t get in. It’s the one major question their team has to answer. For all of their dominance last season, they’ve proven themselves to be perennial bottle-merchants in front of demanding supporters.

Don’t be surprised if that’s the case this year when fans do come back. Even their captain has admitted in the past that they don’t react well to pressure and expectation [Daily Record]. So perhaps they should be thanking the SPFL instead of continuing to bemoan sheer nonsense.
Celtic have a tough run of away games over our first 11 matches. You don’t hear us complaining. We all play the same 38 games, but it wouldn’t be Rangers if there wasn’t an injustice to whine about.
Here’s a look at how some in their support reacted to the fixture list release:

In other news, the fixture list provides Celtic with a terrific siege mentality opportunity.
