Aberdeen assistant manager/player Scott Brown has officially changed his Twitter images, with Celtic fans quick to tease him.
The legendary former Hoops captain starts a new era in the Granite City alongside new manager Stephen Glass. However, considering how close a rival Aberdeen has been to the Hoops over the last decade, it’s certainly a weird sight.
Brown is back in pre-season training with his new club as he looks to kickstart his coaching career. It remains to be seen how often he features under Glass. But given they were so keen to tie him down, you would imagine he’ll be one of their regular starters.
Broony, who won 22 competitions at Parkhead including 10 Premiership titles, will make his Celtic Park return on November 27th. Before that, however, they’ll compete October 2nd at Pittodrie.
And Brown has certainly pleased Dons fans with his latest move. The Celtic legend changed his Hoops-themed Twitter images and replaced them with new snaps of him in his new colours.
Scot Brown to hopefully get the Celtic Park send-off he deserves
One thing that will irk many Celtic fans about Brown’s exit was how abrupt it seemed. He never truly had the chance to say a proper goodbye to the supporters at Parkhead.
The upcoming fixture with Aberdeen in November will hopefully give him the chance to do just that. Whilst there are no signs that stadiums will be packed to capacity anytime soon, the vast majority of Parkhead will hopefully be filled for that one.

There’s something that makes me uneasy as a Celtic supporter about how he left. No great deal made of it due to the fact we’ve all been stuck inside due to the restrictions.
He deserves better than that, and here’s hoping we get the chance to thank him properly in November.
In the meantime, the Celtic fans have been goading his new Twitter look. It’s fair to say he wasn’t getting let off with it so easily:
