Karamoko Dembele, David Turnbull, and Celtic stars respond to Josip Juranovic’s class Insta post

Josip Juranovic took to Instagram immediately after helping Celtic down Rangers as he roared “Glasgow is Green”, and there were plenty of his teammates chipping in to respond.

Juranovic produced a man-of-the-match display against the Ibrox side as he bossed Ryan Kent and refused to give the Ibrox winger any sort of look-in. It was the most dominant performance against Kent that we’ve seen from a Celtic full-back.

And Josip immediately took to Instagram after the game as he couldn’t help but bask in the glory. Teammates such as David Turnbull and Karamoko Dembele, meanwhile, were quick to respond:

It’s difficult to put into words just how good Josip was last night. It’s the first time the Celtic supporters have been able to relax and be confident knowing their player had Kent sussed from the get-go.

The Rangers man tried to do his trademark kick and sprint technique in the first 10 minutes as he looked to beat Josip. However, the Croatian international right-back won the pace duel, and from there on in Kent looked a beaten man.

There was something beautifully symbolic about Juranovic’s performance too. If anything represented the new-look Celtic under Ange, it was him.

Josip Juranovic had Rangers on strings and Celtic are revelling in it

It wasn’t just his defending against Kent that made this a top performance from Josip either. The way he was plucking balls out of the air and using his speed to get Celtic up the pitch was impressive.

He’s the one player who stated before the match that he was ready to give it everything. That he was ready to put in an all-action, 100% committed performance. And boy did it show in how he dominated our rivals from the start.

He was the one who reflected Celtic’s confidence throughout the 90 minutes. Whether it was charging down the right flank, stopping Kent, or laughing in the Rangers man’s face – Juranovic was everything we could’ve hoped last night.

We’re allowed to say this after last night, but Celtic are looking scary good. 5 wins out of 5 in 2022 just about sums it up statistically. But regardless of the challenge being put in front of them, they’re rising to the occasion and seeing off every team that comes across their path.

You can see the team unity in these social media posts too. Look at how delighted injured players such as Turnbull and Dembele are with last night. Even Albian Ajeti is getting in on the reaction. There’s a massive family feel to the Hoops this season, and that reflects in how they communicate with each other.

Hopefully we can continue to keep our performance-levels sky-high as we continue to keep our title-charge at full tilt.
