Kolo Toure’s brilliant comments on Celtic in new interview

Former Celtic defender Kolo Toure has revealed he knew that Celtic would go unbeaten in the 2016/17 season.

Toure also went unbeaten in the 2003/04 Premier League with Arsenal, making him a historic player for having gone unbeaten in seasons with Celtic and Arsenal, an incredible feat which neither side has since been able to replicate.

Andriy Lunin’s wife Anastasia has provided an update on her husband’s future at Real Madrid with the Ukrainian shot stopper linked with a move to Celtic.

John Hartson says a lot of things “conspired against Celtic” this week

Former Celtic striker John Hartson has defended Daizen Maeda after his sending off on Tuesday night against Atletico Madrid, even describing the sending off as harsh.

Hartson spoke of the negative effect the red card had on Tuesday’s match, which meant that Atletico were able to take full advantage of gaps all over the pitch with Celtic down to 10 men Atletico scored five goals after Maeda’s sending off.

Pundit questions Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic tactics following red card in 6-0 defeat

Former Celtic defender Mark Wilson has questioned Brendan Rodgers’ tactics following Daizen Maeda’s sending off against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.

Maeda was sent off in the 23rd minute, and Rodgers decided against making any substitutions until half-time despite being down to 10 men. Instead, the Northern Irishman employed a 4-3-2 formation with Luis Palma and Kyogo Furuhashi up front for the Bhoys.
