Exciting end to SWPL season for Celtic on BBC
As you may be aware, Celtic are just two matches away from securing qualification for the 2021/22 Women’s Champions League.
A stunning run of results has ensured a second-place finish is in their own hands. A victory at home to Forfar will boost those chances further.
The women’s side have never taken part in the Champions League before. Qualification would be a massive step forward in the Celtic project and a wonderful achievement for Alonso and the Ghirls after a long, difficult, Covid-struck campaign.

There’s also the outside opportunity to still win the league title. If City lose or drop points on Sunday against Spartans then Celtic will be right in the mix heading into the final matchday a week on Sunday.
We had the chance to speak to Fran Alonso and Chloe Craig earlier today and will also bring you full coverage of Sunday’s match.
