Nicolas Kuhn was born on January 1, 2000 in Wunstorf, Germany. He began his youth career at TSV Klein Heidorn and FC Wunstorf before joining more reputable clubs like St Pauli, Hannover 96 and RB Leipzig.

Kuhn was signed by Ajax in 2018 but was sent on loan to Bayern Munich II and Erzgebirge Aue.

Rapid Wien in Austria then signed the winger in 2022 and spent 18 months there before moving to Glasgow in January 2024 on a five-and-a-half-year deal.
