The Celtic supporters have taken to Twitter to poke fun at the latest club statement regarding ticket prices.
The news is superb for Celtic fans after the club announced they would take up their 750-ticket allocation for Ibrox on December 29th.
The match itself is set to be the biggest Glasgow derby clash in years. Brendan Rodgers’ men will be looking to stamp down their superiority on their old rivals. Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard will be searching for a much-needed first derby win as Rangers manager.

Rumours earlier this month tinkered with the idea of the club not accepting any tickets. Fortunately, however, an official statement confirmed that won’t be the case.
Fans are generally delighted with the decision, and here we take a look at the best of the reaction on Twitter.

The right decision was made
Celtic have stood by their supporters with this decision. Fans were in uproar at the prospect of not taking the allocation for Ibrox, and quite rightly so.
Rangers fans made the opposite journey to Celtic Park, and therefore were given the opportunity to see them face their rivals away from home. The Hoops supporters who are able to attend also deserve to have that very choice.
The whole ticket fiasco has been nonsensical from the start. Rangers started by cutting Celtic’s allocation in the summer due to “increased demand”. Celtic then retaliated by doing the same to Rangers.

It’s robbed the fixture of some of its usual glamour, with the passion of both sets of fans what makes this rivalry so special. Now? We won’t particularly have that when Celtic go to Ibrox.
Not that it will concern the 750 too much. Celtic will go there, look to do the business, and make those supporters feel good about themselves on the day.
It’s going to be a huge occasion, and credit to the club for taking such a positive decision in the eyes of the fans.
