67 Hail Hail takes a look at the 20 players who have played for both Celtic and Rangers over the years.
Playing for both teams in a rivalry is a brave decision for any player who dares to cross the line. In the case of Celtic and Rangers, that is possibly one of the craziest things you can do.
The fierce rivalry means that there is often disdain towards anyone who has worn their rivals’ colours. Some aren’t phased though and have gone on to represent both teams.
Although it’s less common nowadays, before World War Two, there was a lot of crossover.
A total of 20 players have played at Celtic Park and also represented Rangers. Here are those names.
*Only players who have made first-team appearances for both sides have been included.

Every player to play for Celtic and Rangers after WWII
Since the end of WWII in 1945, only a further five players have gone on to represent Glasgow’s two biggest clubs.
Alfie Conn
Conn started his career at Rangers before making the move south of the border to join Tottenham Hotspur. However, in 1977, Conn shocked everyone by returning to Glasgow – but to join Celtic.
He only had two seasons at Celtic Park, scoring seven goals in that time and won the Scottish Cup in his final year after defeating Rangers by a single goal.
Mo Johnston

Johnston was a prolific goalscorer in his time at Parkhead, bagging 52 times in 99 appearances between 1984-1987, winning the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup across his three years.
But, after a relatively successful period in France with Nantes, Johnston returned to Glasgow. But, it wasn’t Partick Thistle, where he started his career, that he would come back to. It was Rangers.
It left everyone stunned as he became the first Roman Catholic to play for Rangers and even though he did score for the Ibrox club, it wasn’t nearly as impressive as his time at Celtic.
Steven Pressley
Steven Pressley started his career with Rangers and was in-and-out of the first team during the four years he was a part of it.
He spent most of his career bouncing around Scotland with Dundee United and Hearts, but was a surprise signing for Celtic in 2006.
Pressley hardly played during a brief 18-month spell but still enjoyed a successful stint, winning a league and cup double before playing for Randers in Denmark and then finishing his career with Falkirk.
Mark Brown
Mark Brown is a name that will be better remembered by Celtic fans than Rangers supporters.
Although the bulk of his career was at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, it was the latter where he started his career in 1999.
He came to Celtic in 2007, where he acted as an understudy to Artur Boruc, the ‘holy goalie’.
Kenny Miller
Last, but not least, Kenny Miller has worn the colours of both Old Firm sides.
Miller has a better affiliation with Rangers than he does to Celtic and has had two spells at the blue side of Glasgow.
After leaving to join Wolves in England, the Bhoys brought him back to Scotland and Miller actually scored his first Celtic goal against Rangers in 2006.
That was about as good as it got and after signing for Derby County in 2007, he would then come back to Scotland again, but back to Rangers.
