After making his return to Celtic in the summer, Kieran Tierney is once again one of the club’s most important players.

Tierney rejoined Celtic following the expiration of his deal at Arsenal, putting pen to paper on a five-year contract at Parkhead.

The full-back is a product of the Celtic academy and a huge fan favourite amongst the Bhoys fanbase so it’s no surprise that fans were delighted to see him return to the club.

Never one for shying away from his love for the club, Tierney will go to any length to display his passion for the Hoops and even went to a whole new level during Christmas in 2017.

Celtic’s kits have always been pleasing on the eye of late and in the past, there have been some historic ones too.

Retro kits have become a huge fashion item and even some of the current players sporting them when out and about.

But back in 2017, when Tierney was a regular member of the first team, he asked for a retro Celtic shirt – despite getting his own to wear once a week.

He told the Daily Record: “It was the CR Smith centenary year strip. That was the only thing I could think of. Before Christmas they always bring stuff in from people for you to sign. I saw this T-shirt and thought, ‘This one is a belter’.

“So I tried it on and said, ‘Right, get me one of them for Christmas’. I got a bit of slagging for it but do people not know I’m a Celtic fan?
