The manner of Celtic’s victory over Aberdeen on Sunday has left some supporters calling for Pittodrie boss Derek McInnes to leave the club.

Neil Lennon’s men surged to a 4-0 lead at half-time against the home side. With no answers and no way back into the match, the game was effectively over at the interval for the Dons.

McInnes has long been a lauded manager at Aberdeen, with pundits and supporters recognising the job he’s done since arriving back in 2013.

Aberdeen at that point were floundering and the incoming manager was able to turn them into a force with a credible shout of being the second best team in the country.

However over the last 18 months there’s been a change in opinion on the job he’s doing, with some feeling he’s taken the Dons as far as they can go.

Celtic have won eight of the last ten matches against them. The last three have produced an aggregate score of 10-0 in the Hoops’ favour.

That Aberdeen weren’t even competitive against us on Sunday is a bad sign for them moving forward.

The dominance displayed by the Hoops has created a bit of a crisis, with some fans calling for McInnes to leave the club.
