It hasn’t taken long for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard to create hype and headlines at the start of the Scottish Premiership campaign.

After a quiet summer in pre-season friendlies, the main man kicked it up a gear against Hamilton Academical on Monday and netted his first three goals of the season.

Showing poaching instincts and a real desire to get on the end of his teammates’ output, the Frenchman looks as hungry and impressive as ever at the start of our quest for ten-in-a-row.

Yesterday’s hat-trick made a real impact on fans across Scotland and England, with many watching live on Sky Sports impressed by what he has to offer.

Thankfully he’s ours and despite murmurings of interest in the player from down south (Daily Mail), so far Celtic have made it clear they don’t want the 22-year-old to leave anytime soon.

However, as we’ve seen in recent years everyone at Celtic has their price and we can only keep our fingers crossed that no serious interest develops that would make it difficult for the Bhoys to refuse.

Celtic are playing for history in 2020/21 and we need to do everything in our power to hold on to Edouard for at least one more season.

These supporters took to Twitter over the last 48 hours to share their thoughts on the striker…

In other news, Celtic have made contact with Hearts about left-back prospect Aaron Hickey.
