Ange Postecoglou has announced his starting team to face Charlton Athletic in Wales today, per the official club website.
Like against Sheffield Wednesday, two lineups have been named for the day’s action.
Starting XI – Barkas, Ralston, Welsh, Bitton, Taylor, McGregor, Soro, Karamoko, Turnbull, Montgomery, Ajeti.
Second XI – Bain, Christie, Johnston, Ntcham, Edouard, Urhoghide, Shaw, Murray, Henderson, Montgomery, Hjelde.
Although there is little meaning in today’s fixture, it’s another chance for supporters to see a Postecoglou team in action.
The mid-week fixture gave us a bit of insight into the formations that Celtic are working on prior to the upcoming FC Midtjylland tie.
It also provided a platform for some young players to show fans what they are made of.
Today is another great opportunity for a couple of teenagers. Karamoko Dembele and Adam Montgomery can show off their skills in a much more experienced lineup, captained by Callum McGregor.

There’s understandable excitement about some of the starters today. It’s brilliant to see both Isamila Soro and David Turnbull play, while the aforementioned Dembele and Montgomery have provoked plenty of curiosity.
With Albian Ajeti again leading the attack, and a fresh eleven in the second half, hopefully this group can give us something to smile about this afternoon.
