Celtic defender Carl Starfelt won his fourth international cap for Sweden today, coming off the bench in a 2-1 victory over Uzbekistan.
Sweden arranged the friendly to take place between crucial World Cup qualifications matches against Spain and Greece.
Having knocked off the Spaniards on Thursday night, manager Janne Andersson made a number of changes for the fixture.

Starfelt couldn’t find his way into the starting line-up, but was rewarded for his hard work at the international camp with an appearance in the 62nd minute.
Interestingly, it’s been reported by Aftonbladet reporter Michael Wagner that the Celtic summer signing entered the match as a defensive midfielder, rather than in his traditional centre-half role.
I’m not sure we’ll be seeing much of that at Celtic, but it’s progress for him at the international level at least.
Starfelt hasn’t played for his country since March when he completed a full 90 minutes in a 1-0 win over Estonia.
He disappointingly missed out on the Euros and hadn’t featured for Sweden in seven matches.
The new Bhoy has his work cut out to feature regularly, currently behind players such as Victor Lindelof and Filip Helander in the Swedish reckoning.

His path to more appearances will no doubt be impressing for Celtic consistently.
It’s been a difficult start for him under Ange Postecoglou but there’s definitely hope he can settle into his role at Celtic Park and turn out to be a fine signing.
In other news, Derek McInnes comes off the fence to write off Celtic title chances.
