Some Celtic fans are excited about what Mohamed Elyounoussi can achieve at the club this season after watching him in friendly action today against Ross County.
Neil Lennon’s Bhoys are playing two matches in two days ahead of next week’s Scottish Premiership kick-off.
This afternoon it was the turn of his strongest eleven to get some much-needed minutes, with big hitters like Elyounoussi, Odsonne Edouard and Scott Brown all starting.
Elyounoussi was arguably the stand-out performer throughout and again found himself on the scoresheet after last week’s effort against Lyon.
The left-winger arrived in the box to get on the end of a low Jeremie Frimpong cross, slamming the side’s second goal of the day home in a 2-0 victory.
The Norwegian international has re-signed at Celtic this summer, again on loan from Southampton, and looks ready to build on last term’s promising showings in Lennon’s team.
His major problem throughout 2019/20 was staying injury-free.

The early signs are he’s put those woes behind him and is now about to emerge as one of our best players on a consistent basis.
If he can bring his goal and assist tallies into double figures this term then it’ll be a huge boost to our ten-in-a-row ambitions.
These fans have taken to Twitter today to share their thoughts on the player after his latest performance…
