Our fans had their say on TalkingPoints and unanimously gave the man of the match award to Daizen Maeda.
Our fans gave him 92 per cent of the vote after his brace and assist for Kieran Tierney’s thunderbolt.
Martin O’Neill praised Maeda for his performance and so did the 67 Hail Hail fanbase.
One person commented: “Maeda was on a different level today.”
A second stated: “Maeda for me. He’s looking really sharp and giving his all. Hopefully he can score a few more before the end of the season.”

Even by his own admission, the 28-year-old hasn’t been up to standards this season.
The failed summer move clearly affected Maeda, but he has promised to be at his very best for the rest of the title fight.
“I think individually, collectively, we still have a space to improve, so I’ll try my best to stay on the camera every game,” he told Celtic TV.
“Every time the supporters were helping us, but personally I wasn’t performing well and giving them back.
“But in the last four games I will try my best to give them everything back.”
