Celtic’s fans have taken to TalkingPoints to preview how they’re feeling about the upcoming test against St Mirren.

The Hoops face the managerless St Mirren side at Celtic Park in the final game before the Scottish Premiership splits into a top six and bottom six for the final five games of the season.

Saturday’s game will also mark the return of the Green Brigade to the stands after they came to an agreement with the club. But will that have an effect on their performance? 67 Hail Hail asked our users on TalkingPoints.

How confident are you that Celtic will win this weekend?

Celtic fans think they are due a big win

It may be because the sun is out or the fact that Celtic now hold the cards in the title race, but supporters seem optimistic about the chances of winning this weekend.

Martin O’Neill’s side haven’t put a team to the sword in some time, and some of our supporters believe that could come to an end at Parkhead.

One user commented: “The atmosphere will be back and the players will be desperate to play on home soil at last!!”

Another wrote: “We haven’t had a convincing win recently, but I just have a feeling that, in spite of having no real goal threat, we might win 4-1.”

Who are you picking Celtic fans, and why?

A third TalkingPoints user added: “I think the fans will spur them on to glory. 2-0 Celtic.”

From the vote itself, the majority stated that they were confident, but did have some nerves about the game and given how close the title race is right now, that is perfectly understandable.

This person said: “I can see Celtic winning but think it’ll be a struggle.”

That fan wasn’t the only person to think that, with another stating: “Slightly nervous.”
