Celtic fans were not happy after watching their side lose 3-2 to Rangers this afternoon.
A spirited fightback from 2-0 down to bring the game back to 2-2 was not enough after Hamza Igamane’s winner scrubbed out Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate‘s goals. And those came after conceded to Nico Raskin and Mo Diomande in the first-half.
It was a poor 90 minutes or so for most of the Celtic’s squad who struggled to get to grips with Gers’ efforts before a rocket at half-time from Brendan Rodgers.
The manager was frustrated at full-time as Rodgers explained how much Celtic miss Callum McGregor, but one player being missing should not have hampered the team as much as it did as they put in a sub-par performance against their rivals when they really should have blown them away.

Fans were, like the Irishman, livid with what they saw from their players with barely any landing pass marks on a disappointing day.
And in response to the club’s official social media channel posting their reaction to the result, the support also made their feelings known as the manager copped it from different angles.
“No excuses we have just lost to the worst rangers side in recent times that’s absolutely embarrassing,” wrote one fan online.
Another added: “Defensively that was shocking. So slow moving the ball on too. Grim!”

One commented: “Questions need asked about our fitness as well, getting outrun by a team that played 120+ mins on Thursday.
“The only player in our team that looked fit was Nawrocki, which is mental when you think about it.”
A fourth said: “That’s what happens when you refuse to buy quality players. Cash is there. Squad depth is shocking. Shame!”
Others chose to remind themselves of the Scottish Premiership table and how it looks right now.
One wrote: “Aw well. Treble anyone?” as another commented: “Let them enjoy their 13 points behind trophy & finish the season off with a treble.”
