Celtic fans have been given some advice ahead of this weekend’s fixture in Dublin.
The Celts are preparing for their latest pre-season clash, with Wolves the opponents at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.
It’s a busy weekend in Dublin with the All-Ireland Football Final taking place on Sunday. The Bray Air Display is on both days this weekend while our clash was a pretty late addition to the running order.
Irish Rail have offered some advice ahead of the “high demand” weekend they’re anticipating, and there’s some active guidance for Celtic supporters heading to the Aviva for the 2pm kick-off.
In terms of Saturday, they say: “There will be extremely high demand on DARTs (trains) due to the Air Display and Celtic vs Wolves.
“Those travelling to the Bray Air Display are advised to have commenced their DART journey by 11am – while football supporters are being advised by event organisers to walk from city centre to the Aviva.

“Southbound demand in the run-up to the kick-off at the Aviva is expected to reach capacity.”
So if you’re heading to the game this weekend, it seems like it will make more sense to walk out to the stadium rather than get involved in some hectic trains.
Making the active choice will help to burn a good few extra calories as well, while the walk shouldn’t take any longer than 45 minutes, as per Google Maps.

It will be interesting to see what kind of crowd takes in the match. Celtic have a large support in Ireland but the fixture was only formally announced around a fortnight ago and many Scottish based supporters may have decided against the trip.
For those not able to make it to the Aviva, the match will be shown live by both Viaplay and Celtic TV.
