Celtic fans will love a recent admission made by Rangers centre-back Connor Goldson. The defender admitted that in the last Glasgow derby Hoops skipper Scott Brown got the better of the Ibrox side.
Brown conducted proceedings in the game which ended in a 2-1 win for the Hoops. Goldson admitted that the Ibrox side couldn’t cope with the Hoops skipper on the day.
“Been very clever”
“Truthfully, and people won’t like me saying this, he (Brown) has been very clever” he said, as reported by the Daily Record.

“We shouldn’t get sucked in by that and, on that day, we did. I don’t know if you can call it frustrating because it’s our own fault.”
Lost discipline

In the last game Rangers lost all control of their discipline. Alfredo Morelos was sent-off for an elbow on Brown and Andy Halliday was red carded after the game.
Goldson’s admission was delight the Hoops fans. He has more or less revealed that Scott Brown runs the Glasgow derby.

As long as Brown keeps using his experience, the Hoops will prosper in the big games. That may well continue in the last Glasgow derby of the season on Sunday.
Should Brown put his experience to good use again, it could be a very productive day for the Hoops. Rangers will hope not to fall into any more traps set by the Hoops skipper.
If they do, the Hoops could win at Ibrox for the first time this season.
