One interesting aspect of Celtic’s upcoming Scottish Cup tie against Partick Thistle on Saturday is that the Hoops support will vastly outnumber the home support at Firhill.
The Daily Record recently revealed that 8,000 plus Celtic fans are expected to be in attendance at the stadium in the West End of Glasgow. That almost makes it a home game for the Hoops.
However, despite the expected large travelling support, the game might not be that exciting. It will be expected that Celtic will have a routine victory over a struggling Championship side.
Perception of game has been changed

Some recent comments by Neil Lennon might have changed the perception of the game though.
The Hoops boss confirmed, as revealed by Superscoreboard Twitter account, that new signing Patryk Klimala will be in the squad for the tie at Firhill.
That immediately adds new some interest to the game. The vast travelling Celtic support will be eager to see the new Bhoy in action.
Hopefully he is able to put on a good display in what will be his first competitive game for the Hoops. Klimala cost Celtic £3.5 million, so he won’t be satisfied with a place on the bench.
He will want to show Neil Lennon that he is worthy of a first-team start for the club.
Will be looking to emulate one of last January’s signings

Perhaps he will be able to emulate a January signing who scored for the Hoops on their debut last season, Timothy Weah.
Weah made his first appearance for the Hoops in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup last season, and scored in a 3-0 win over Airdrieonians.
A similar good start for Klimala would be a great debut to his Hoops career. With Celtic games coming thick and fast, Klimala could find himself a first-team regular perhaps earlier than expected. That could all start with a cameo performance in the Scottish Cup tie.
