Celtic have taken all three points against Rangers for the first time in almost two years.
After an early opener by Mikey Moore, Danny Rohl’s side looked to be in control, but the Martin O’Neill effect is never in doubt at this point.
Hyunjun Yang’s equaliser got the sides level at half-time, before Daizen Maeda had perhaps his finest hour in a Celtic shirt.
His unbelievable bicycle kick will go down as one of the greatest Glasgow Derby goals ever, and has the Hoops back in the driving seat for the Scottish Premiership title race.

Daizen Maeda leads Celtic player ratings vs Rangers
Viljami Sinisalo – 6/10
Didn’t have a great deal to do in the game, but did what was required.
Alistair Johnston – 6/10
Johnston was alongside Luke McCowan in a struggling right side in the first-half, passing the ball out of the park on more than one occasion.
Regardless, he wasn’t the biggest culprit of that.
Auston Trusty – 3/10
Last month in the Scottish Cup, Trusty put in his best performance in a Celtic jersey as the team won on penalties at Ibrox.
Today, the opposite was the case. For whatever reason, he made playing against Youssef Chermiti look like the most daunting task in world football.

Liam Scales – 6/10
Scales was the more competent of the two centre halves on the day, but he wasn’t perfect either.
Kieran Tierney – 6/10
In both attack and defence, Tierney had good and bad moments. Up against Oliver Antman in the first-half, he didn’t have a lot to deal with.
Much of Rangers’ play came through the centre.
Callum McGregor – 5/10
Barely in the game, and caught in possession on a few occasions in the first-half. This isn’t just true of McGregor, but the entire Celtic midfield.
Regardless, another derby win in his stellar record. Fitting to see him prevail against James Tavernier one last time.
Arne Engels – 7/10
As we’ve seen before from Engels, on the periphery of the game for periods.
However, his cutback for Hyunjun Yang was excellently placed, paving the way for Celtic to finally get a foothold in the game.
Benjamin Nygren – 5/10
Celtic’s Player of the Year this season, and that’s hard to disagree with… but his performances in derbies have left a fair bit to be desired.
His threat was largely nullified by the visitors today.
What a huge win, how do you feel, Celtic fans? 😍😍
Give us your thoughts… 👇
Luke McCowan – 4/10
McCowan gets a harsh rating despite playing one of the passes of the season in the build-up to Yang’s opener.
Such was the extent of his struggles in the first-half. He was rightly substituted at the break.
Daizen Maeda – 9/10
You felt at points in the first-half that it may not be Maeda’s day — at times, his runs weren’t seen by teammates, and he missed the big chance that he did get.
But Henrik Larsson would’ve been proud of his quickfire double in the second half. Truly the mark of a great Celtic striker.
What a hero!
Hyunjun Yang – 7/10
Having spent much of this season playing on the right, Yang did a solid job on the left today.
Positive on the ball up against Tavernier, and, of course, scored the all-important equaliser on the day. Well done that man.

Reo Hatate – 6/10
Marcelo Saracchi – 7/10
