Wilfried Nancy will be lucky to still be in a Celtic job after losing to Rangers in the Glasgow derby.
Celtic initially looked well up for the occasion and made their start count as Hyunjun Yang went on an amazing solo run before rifling a shot past a helpless Jack Butland.
Johnny Kenny had a number of chances to extend the Hoops’ lead before the break, but was denied by Jack Butland from close range.
Rangers thought they were level right on half time, but Youssef Chermiti was clearly offside before playing a pass into Mikey Moore, but they soon managed to bring themselves level as Chermiti tapped home from close range as Nicolas Raskin evaded a challenge from Auston Trusty.
Chermiti then gave Rangers the lead as Trusty opted against closing him down, giving him the freedom to run down on goal and place the ball past Kasper Schmeichel, who could only get a hand to it.
Schmeichel was then at fault again as he failed to get down low to Mikey Moore’s effort which put the result beyond doubt.
Fans walked out of the ground way before full time and it is hard to see a world where he survives this.
Is Wilfried Nancy’s position untenable?
Celtic player ratings
Kasper Schmeichel – 2
Third goal was a huge error from him again and happened too many times. Frustrations boiled over so much that fans began to boo him with every touch.
Anthony Ralston – 4
Wasn’t anywhere near as bad as he has been in previous weeks but was part of a defeNce that capitulated. Again.
Auston Trusty – 2
A lesson in how not to defend. At fault for both goals and was particularly embarrassing for the second goal by allowing Chermiti the freedom of Celtic Park.
Kieran Tierney – 3
Didn’t do anything of note and couldn’t get any sort of rhythm going.
Hyunjun Yang – 6

Was exceptional in the first half and looked capable of taking on the world. That goal was brilliant, but it ultimately didn’t count for anything
Callum McGregor (C) – 4
Was overran in midfield once Danny Rohl made a change to the midfield. It was game over by that point.
Arne Engels – 3
Went missing after a while and disappointed more and more as the game went on.
Luke McCowan – 5
Was okay in patches and made some neat passes in the first half but was substituted as things turned sour.
Benjamin Nygren – 4
Quieter game from the man who we were hoping would score some more goals.
Daizen Maeda – 3
Apart from one chance in the second half, did he even do anything? Being restricted by this formation doesn’t help.
Johnny Kenny – 3
How many more chances does Johnny Kenny need to stick the ball in the back in the net? It comes to the point where sympathy turns to anger. It is so obvious that Celtic need a striker.

Substitutes
Julian Araujo – 4
Shin Yamada – 3
Reo Hatate – 3
Liam Scales – N/A
James Forrest – N/A
