Celtic are back in Europa League action this week with a trip to FC Midtjylland in Denmark.
The Hoops are in good form having won their last three games in all competitions, including last weekend’s extra-time victory against Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final.
On paper, this will be Celtic’s hardest test in the Europa League so far as Midtjylland currently top the table with three wins from three.
Martin O’Neill has plenty of options across the pitch to pick from, but that striker’s position is one that is up for debate.
Johnny Kenny or Callum Osmand?
One striker in form is great news, but two is music to O’Neill’s ears.
Johnny Kenny and Callum Osmand are both players that have looked reborn under the new Hoops regime and have proved they are capable of stepping up to the plate.
Kenny has three goals in two games under O’Neill and Osmand scored his first professional goal against Rangers.
The former has started both games whereas the youngster has come off the bench and caused havoc for opposition defences.
Thankfully, Osmand is eligible to play after being registered in place of the injured Cameron-Carter-Vickers and no matter who starts, they will be backed by the supporting fans.
Celtic predicted XI vs Midtjylland
The old saying is ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ and that applies to this Celtic XI to face Midtjylland.
Kasper Schmeichel starts in goal behind a back four of Anthony Ralston, Auston Trusty, Liam Scales and Marcelo Saracchi.

Moving into midfield and the trio of Callum McGregor, Arne Engels and Benjamin Nygren.
In the forward positions, Daizen Maeda starts out on the right again, Sebastian Tounekti plays on the left and Kenny down the middle.
