Celtic fans were given their first glimpse of what they could expect from Elijah Just and Tawanda Maswanhise if they signed from Motherwell.

The duo played as Celtic beat the Steelmen 3-1 to move to within two points of Hearts in the Scottish Premiership title race.

For many, Motherwell have been the standout side with Just and Maswanhise the two talisman, but how did 67 Hail Hail rate their performance out of 10?

Who was your man of the match from yesterday’s HUGE win?

Elijah Just – 8/10

The winger was the star in Jens Berthel Askou’s side at the weekend and caught the eye.

He capitalised on a mistake from Reo Hatate to equalise in the first half and was at the heart of everything that the visitors created.

Just made it a difficult afternoon for Colby Donovan and given that his stats are similar to Daizen Maeda and Hyunjun Yang this season, seems like he would be more than capable of delivering in the green and white.

Tawanda Maswanhise – 5/10

It was a day to forget for the league’s top scorer, who struggled to get past the pairing of Benjamin Arthur and Liam Scales.

Maswanhise was heavily linked with Celtic in the January transfer window but showed no signs of that kind of form.

The Zimbabwe international only managed two shots across 89 minutes of action but one afternoon doesn’t define his entire game.

It perhaps says more about how well the defence did to keep him quiet, but it is fair to say that he would have hoped to have had more of an impact, even if he came against his potential future employers’ expense.
