It’s a top-of-the-table Premiership clash against the two unbeaten sides in the league but it’s a chance for the Hoops to pull away in the title race.
In fairness, Aberdeen have been magnificent this season. New manager Jimmy Thelin has transformed the club’s fortunes with 13 wins out of 13 so far.
However, Brendan Rodgers will be keen to burst his bubble and see Aberdeen crash back down to earth today with three points of his own.
Celtic on paper should be too strong for the Dons but with confidence high at Pittodrie, the Bhoys need to keep their wits about them this afternoon.

Cameron Carter-Vickers misses Aberdeen clash
Central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers was an injury doubt for the game despite stepping up his recovery from a toe injury sustained against Slovan Bratislava.
But Rodgers has not opted to include the American in his matchday squad today, so it sees Auston Trusty continue alongside Liam Scales.
Elsewhere, it’s a familiar looking team sheet for Celtic fans who will turn out in their numbers at Celtic Park to cheer the champions on to victory.
