Manager Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team vs Aberdeen for today’s Scottish Premiership clash at Celtic Park.

The full match squad is:

Starting XI – Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor, McGregor, Hatate, O’Riley, Jota, Maeda, Oh.

Substitutes – Bain, Kyogo, Haksabanovic, Abada, Kobayashi, Iwata, Bernabei, Ralston, Forrest.

It’s a big day in the top-flight with the Bhoys playing at home at the same time as title-rivals Rangers kick-off away to Livingston.

The major news from the team sheet is Hyeongyu Oh getting his first Celtic start in place of Kyogo Furuhashi. Kyogo is fit and available from the bench but after last week’s shoulder issue, the manager is taking no risks ahead of next week’s cup final.

Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley also come into the team for Aaron Mooy and David Turnbull. Those are the only three changes from last week’s win over St Mirren.

Broadcast details

Today’s match is on not on Sky Sports or any UK broadcasting service.

However, Celtic TV will be showing the match live for subscribers to the club service outside of the UK & Ireland.

That is the only real method of watching the match, with the game not included on the SPFL’s world feed for international broadcast details.

BBC Radio Scotland will be carrying live audio commentary across their platforms.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Aberdeen

It’s exciting for Celtic supporters to see our new striker start his first match. He got off the goalscoring mark last mark and will be bursting with confidence.

He has made 4 substitute appearances but this is the first real chance to see how he fits into the team.

O’Riley and Hatate also merit their place in the team after a strong showing off the bench last week, although we will need an update on the status of Aaron Mooy – who misses out on the squad completely.

Overall, it looks to be a settled, talented eleven that is more than capable of picking up the three points today.

In other news, Ange’s brilliant comments on record-breaking Celtic support as McCoist’s offer is put to him.
