Celtic team vs Dundee United confirmed; 2 big returns, TV details, fans react

Manager Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team vs Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership today, per the official club website.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Hart, Starfelt, Carter-Vickers, Taylor, Juranovic, Turnbull, Rogic, McGregor, Furuhashi, Johnston, Forrest.

Substitutes – Bain, Scales, Montgomery, Bitton, McCarthy, Abada, Ajeti.

With Jota, Anthony Ralston and Stephen Welsh all missing out today, the team was always going to have a different look and feel to it compared to recent weeks.

The good news is Cameron Carter-Vickers has returned to shore up the defence, with Greg Taylor also returning from injury on the left flank.

Mikey Johnston also gets a big opportunity for the start supporting James Forrest and Kyogo in attack. It’s a changed team but still one very much capable of winning the three points today.

Today’s match is not in the Pass To Paradise service as the fixture is away from home.

However, Celtic TV will be broadcasting the 90 minutes to their subscribers worldwide outside of the UK & Ireland.

On these shores, the game will be found on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.

As you can imagine there is a bit of trepidation given the personnel that is missing today.

However, with players returning from absences there is definite hope that the Celts will push themselves to the three points on Tayside.

We definitely need to see big performances from the likes of Taylor and Johnston however.
