Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has named his team for tonight’s Scottish Premiership match vs Hearts, per the official website.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Bain: Taylor, Starfelt, Bitton, Ralston, Soro, Turnbull, Abada, McGregor, Forrest, Edouard.
Substitutes – Barkas, Furuhashi, Ajeti, Christie, Rogic, Montgomery, Welsh.
Three points are up for grabs tonight for the first time in Celtic’s season. After the disappointment of the Midtjylland tie, tonight is an opportunity to really kickstart the Postecoglou reign.
The headline news is of course a debut for Carl Starfelt in defence, alleviating an over-reliance on young, inexperienced players.
Elsewhere, fellow new signing Kyogo Furuhashi is on the bench after coming through his quarantine period.
Meanwhile, Nir Bitton comes back into the side after his suspension.

Tonight’s match is not on the Pass To Paradise service as it’s away from home.

Fan reaction to Celtic team vs Hearts
As you can imagine, the inclusion of Starfelt in defence and Furuhashi on the bench is cause for much excitement amongst the support.
It already gives the match squad a better look, with less reliance on untested players.
The Swede faces a tough first match in Scotland but the team tonight should have the quality to see off Hearts. That’s the hope anyway.
