Manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his Celtic team vs Hibs for today’s away trip to Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Schmeichel, A. Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate, Forrest, Kuhn, Kyogo.
Substitutes – Sinisalo, Yang, Holm, Iwata, Bernardo, Maeda, Ralston, Welsh, M. Johnston.
After hammering Kilmarnock 4-0 at Celtic Park last week, the Bhoys are on the road for the first time this season and trips to the capital – whether green or maroon – can be tricky.
Hibs boss David Gray has talked up Celtic’s quality in advance of this one but it’s on Rodgers’ outfit to prove that on the pitch again. That will come through hard work and attacking intent.
Rodgers has named an unchanged eleven from the side that beat Killie but there could be first minutes of the season for the newly signed Paulo Bernardo, as well as the returning Daizen Maeda, who makes the bench.
Broadcast details
Today’s match kicks off at 12:30pm and is live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football in the UK & Ireland.

The verdict on Celtic team vs Hibs
It makes perfect sense to go with an unchanged team today and it’s what we predicted the manager would pick – so there are no complaints from our end.
With fatigue not an issue at this stage of the season and no mid-week match to contend with then there’s it’s pointless to tinker with an in-form group.
Matt O’Riley continues to perform with distinction despite heavy transfer talk and the attacking front free looked sharp against Kilmarnock.
Maeda’s return is welcome but there’s no need to take a risk with his knee issue and it’d be great to see Bernardo come into the match in the second half with a full week of training under his belt.
