Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Kilmarnock
Given Jota hasn’t been seen in training footage or images this week, it was expected the winger would make way for Haksabanovic. Carter-Vickers missing out is more of a surprise but the artificial pitch at Rugby Park could be a factor in that decision – it’s a good opportunity for Kobayashi to test himself away from home.
Having both Tomoki Iwata and Callum McGregor in the same midfield is another chance for us to see how that functions too, while Haksabanovic will be aiming to impress as a starter with his most impressive contributions this season coming from the bench so far.
It’s an intriguing line-up but one which should have enough to take care of Kilmarnock. Hopefully an exciting 90 minutes is ahead of us!
