Neil Lennon has confirmed his Celtic team vs Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership today, per the official club Twitter account.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Bain, Kenny, Ajer, Welsh, Taylor, Brown, McGregor, Rogic, Turnbull, Ajeti, Edouard.

Substitutes – Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Johnston, Elyounoussi, Henderson, Laxalt.

The manager will be hoping to build on a comfortable victory against Kilmarnock on Tuesday night.

As expected, he’s named a strong team full of the regulars he’s turned to throughout the season.

Albian Ajeti starts alongside Odsonne Edouard in the attack. Both strikers were on the scoresheet midweek. It’d be great to see them continue that.

Elsewhere, Stephen Welsh continues in the defence alongside Kristoffer Ajer.

There’s also room for captain Scott Brown, rather than Ismaila Soro.

With Ryan Christie out injured, Tom Rogic comes into the starting line-up.

Broadcast Details

Today’s game is on the club’s ‘Pass To Paradise’ streaming service for season ticket holders.

Celtic TV will also be broadcasting live coverage, for subscribers to the separate service, outside of the UK & Ireland.

For those who cannot tune in there, BBC Radio Scotland is providing live audio commentary online.

Fan reaction to Celtic team vs Motherwell

The decision to start Brown again at the expense of Soro hasn’t exactly gone down well with fans.

Brown played well against Killie, and got a goal, but the Ivorian is seen as the future in the Celtic midfield. The captain, in contrast, is coming to the end of his career.

Lennon said Soro was ‘fatigued’ prior to the Kilmarnock clash, but it’ll be interesting to hear what his reasoning is today.
