Manager Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team vs Rangers for today’s Scottish Premiership derby at Celtic Park.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate, Forrest, Maeda, Kyogo.
Substitutes – Bain, Palma, Idah, Kuhn, Nawrocki, Iwata, Bernardo, Ralston, Welsh.
Today’s match is as big as it gets. Celtic are injury-free, in good form and motivated to pick up a huge result against their title rivals.
Rodgers has made just one change to the starting line-up that defeated Hearts 3-0 last weekend.
Daizen Maeda comes into the team after recovering from injury, replacing Nicolas Kuhn who drops to the bench.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Rangers
Today’s team is the exact eleven we predicted that the manager would go with today, so there are no complaints on our end.
Celtic have pace, intensity, creativity and an eye for goal in the eleven today. Notably, it’s the first time that Rodgers has selected his strongest midfield against Rangers this season.
It’s a strong bench too. Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah can both make an impact in the second half, while Tomoki Iwata will be on hand to provide fresh legs if needed.
Expectations are high this afternoon. Celtic can all but seal three title wins in a row. The team is good enough to live up to that billing. They just need to execute like we know they can.
