Manager Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic team vs Ross County in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon, which kicks off at 3pm.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Hart, Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Turnbull, Jota, Maeda, Kyogo.

Substitutes – Siegrist, Starfelt, Giakoumakis, Abada, Mooy, McCarthy, Bernabei, Forrest, Ralston.

After a fine performance on the opening weekend, making it six points from six is the aim of the game today, and the manager has named as strong a team as you’d expect.

David Turnbull comes into the midfield in place of Reo Hatate, who has been carrying knocks from last week’s efforts against Aberdeen.

There’s also a competitive debut for Moritz Jenz, who replaces Stephen Welsh in the defence.

Malky Mackay will set up his own outfit in an aggressive and combative fashion, and his team competed well against the Bhoys on their turf last season, albeit losing out both times.

It should be an exciting game!

Broadcast details

Today’s match is not available via any legitimate video broadcasts in the UK & Ireland, as a result of the Saturday 3pm blackout rule, which the SFA opt into with UEFA.

Celtic TV will provide live audio commentary to subscribers on these shores, while also broadcasting live video to subscribers worldwide outside of the UK & Ireland.

BBC Radio Scotland is also providing live audio commentary across their platforms.

Celtic TV is the only method to watch the match internationally, with no other channels in other countries able to show the game.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs Ross County

This is the right team and approach for me. There were arguments for Giorgos Giakoumakis and Liel Abada to come into the eleven, but both Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda were excellent on the last visit to Dingwall and deserve their spot today.

It’s exciting to see Jenz in the team and what he can offer, with Carl Starfelt also knocking on the door for a defensive position from the substitutes’ bench.

A midfield of Callum McGregor, Matt O’Riley and Turnbull should have the creative chops to break Ross County down, and I’m also looking forward to seeing what Jota can conjure up on the wing.

In other news, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou dismisses Liel Abada concerns.
