Manager Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team vs St Mirren for today’s Scottish Premiership match at Celtic Park.

The full match squad is as follows:

Starting XI – Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Nawrocki, Taylor, Iwata, O’Riley, Hatate, Kuhn, Yang, Kyogo.

Substitutes – Bain, Lagerbielke, Palma, Idah, Bernardo, McGregor, Forrest, Ralston, Welsh.

Like all of the remaining games this season, Celtic are in must-win mode. Given the title race situation, only three points will do today at home to the Buddies.

A victory would see the Bhoys move four points clear of Rangers, having played two matches more. It’s critical to keep the pressure on the Ibrox side.

Rodgers has made two changes to the team that drew 3-3 in last week’s derby. After injuries to Daizen Maeda and Liam Scales, Maik Nawrocki and Hyunjun Yang come into the eleven.

Broadcast details

Today’s match is not being shown on TV within the UK or Ireland.

Club streaming service Celtic TV will broadcast the fixture but only to global subscribers outside of the region.

BBC Radio Scotland will carry live commentary across their platforms online and over the airwaves.

Instant verdict on Celtic team vs St Mirren

There are few surprises in today’s line-up. It was always a long shot to see Callum McGregor starting given his fitness issues of late but we’ll likely get to watch the captain play off the bench in the second half.

The only big call was really who started on the opposite wing to Nicolas Kuhn with both Luis Palma and Yang contenders. The Honduran is only returning from injury himself so it makes sense that the South Korean would get the nod.

Yang still has plenty to prove in a Celtic shirt with only one goal to his name this season so hopefully we see him step up and stake a claim to become a regular in Maeda’s absence.
