Manager Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team vs St Mirren for today’s Scottish Cup clash in Paisley.
The full match squad is as follows:
Starting XI – Hart, Ralston, Welsh, Scales, Bernabei, McGregor, O’Riley, Palma, Maeda, Idah, Kyogo.
Substitutes – Bain, Kuhn, Yang, Nawrocki, Oh, Iwata, Bernardo, Vata, Kelly.
The cup holders continue their defence of the trophy after seeing off Buckie Thistle at Celtic Park in the previous round.
Stephen Robinson’s side will provide a far stiffer test than that one. No surprise then that the Bhoys boss has named about as strong a team as possible for this one, taking into account form and injuries.
Rodgers has made three changes from the team that beat Hibernian mid-week with Anthony Ralston coming in for the injured Alistair Johnston.
Luis Palma and Kyogo Furuhashi also return to the line-up after missing out in Edinburgh.
Broadcast details
Today’s match is live on Viaplay Sports 1 in the UK.

The fixture is being shown on a number of channels around the world including 10 Sport in Australia and Premier Sports in Ireland. A full list of global broadcasters can be found via LiveSoccerTV.
BBC Radio Scotland will also be providing live audio commentary over the airwaves and online.

The verdict on Celtic team vs St Mirren
It’s a bold, attacking eleven from the manager today and it’ll be interesting to see what the shape of the team is.
Palma, Kyogo, Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah are all wingers or attackers. It could be that the Honduran drops into a more central midfield position with Matt O’Riley, or Kyogo plays just behind the central forward Idah.
It could even be an increasingly rare 4-4-2 formation.
Either way, Rodgers has put a large amount of forward-thinking talent on the pitch and St Mirren will hopefully have a tough afternoon coping with that, rather than looking to exploit any space left by the Bhoys.
